NFL Matchups-Week 17… Stats you need to know

Here’s a look at the 16 NFL games for Week 17 (all games are being played on Sunday, January 1). Note: These are all division games. Each game will have the leader of the all-time series, who won the game earlier this season between the two teams, and three stats of interest about the all-time series between the teams

Baltimore @ Cincinnati: Baltimore leads the all-time series 23-20. The Ravens defeated the Bengals 19-14 earlier this season. The teams have split the last 12 games in the series… Cincinnati has won four straight at home versus Baltimore… each of the last five games in the series were decided by eight points or less.

Houston @ Tennessee: Tennessee leads the all-time series 15-14. The Texans defeated the Titans 27-20 earlier this season. The Texans have won five straight over Tennessee… the Titans have scored less than 22 points in each of the last five games against Houston… Houston has won four of the last five games played in Tennessee.

Carolina @ Tampa Bay: Carolina leads the all-time series 20-12. The Bucs defeated the Panthers 17-14 earlier this season. Carolina has won six of the last seven against Tampa Bay… the Panthers have won the last three games played in Tampa Bay… Tampa Bay has scored over 20 points only once in the last seven games versus the Panthers.

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis: Indianapolis leads the all-time series 21-10. The Jags defeated the Colts 30-27 earlier this season. Jacksonville has won the last two games in the series… Indy has won six of the last eight games… the Colts have won the last three games at home against the Jags.

New England @ Miami: Miami leads the all-time series 53-49. The Patriots defeated the Dolphins 31-24 earlier this season. Miami has won the last three home games versus the Pats… New England has scored 30 or more points in three of the last four games against Miami… the teams have split the last six games played.

Chicago @ Minnesota: Minnesota leads the all-time series 57-52-1. The Bears defeated the Vikings 20-10 earlier this season. The teams have split the last 10 games they played… the Vikings have won the last four at home against the Bears… the Bears have scored under 22 points in each of the last six games played against the Vikings.

Buffalo @ New York Jets: Buffalo leads the all-time series 60-52. The Jets defeated the Bills 37-31 earlier this season. Buffalo has won the last two games played on the Jets home field… the last three games in the series were each decided by six points or less… the Bills have won five of the last six games in the series.

Dallas @ Philadelphia: Dallas leads the all-time series 65-50. The Cowboys defeated the Eagles 29-23 earlier this season. The teams split the last six games played… Dallas has won the last four games played in Philly… the last two games in the series had a combined score of 56-56.

Cleveland @ Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh leads the all-time series 71-58. The Steelers defeated the Browns 24-9 earlier this season. Pittsburgh has won three straight over Cleveland… the Steelers have won 12 consecutive games at home over the Browns… Cleveland has scored under 10 points in eight of the last 17 games against Pittsburgh.

New Orleans @ Atlanta: Atlanta leads the all-time series 50-45. The Falcons defeated the Saints 45-32 earlier this season. The teams have split the last four games played in Atlanta… they have also split the last eight games played in the series… four of the last nine games between the teams were decided by four points or less.

New York Giants @ Washington: New York leads the all-time series 98-67-4. Washington defeated the Giants 29-27 earlier this season. The Redskins have won the last two contests over the Giants… they have split the last six games played in Washington… the Giants have won five of the last seven games in the series.

Arizona @ Los Angeles Rams: Los Angeles leads the all-time series 39-37-2. The Rams defeated the Cardinals 17-13 earlier this season. The Cards have won the last two games played on the Rams home field… they have split the last eight games in the series… the Rams have scored 14 or fewer points in four of the last six games versus Arizona.

Oakland @ Denver: Oakland leads the all-time series 62-50-2. The Raiders defeated the Broncos 30-20 earlier this season. Oakland has won the last two games in the series… Denver is 3-1 in the last four games at home against the Raiders… eight of the last 10 games in the series were decided by 10 points or more.

Kansas City @ San Diego: Kansas City leads the all-time series 57-55-1. The Chiefs defeated the Chargers 33-27 earlier this season. Kansas City has won five straight over San Diego… the teams have split the last four games played in San Diego… the Chargers have scored less than 10 points in three of the last four games against the Chiefs.

Seattle @ San Francisco: San Francisco leads the all-time series 21-15. The Seahawks defeated the 49ers 37-18 earlier this season. Seattle has won six straight over the 49ers… the teams have split the last four games played in San Francisco… the 49ers have scored under 20 points versus Seattle in 11 straight games.

Green Bay @ Detroit: Green Bay leads the all-time series 99-68-7. The Packers defeated the Lions 34-27 earlier this season. Green Bay has won the last two contests… they split the last six games played in Detroit… the last three games in the series were each decided by a TD or less.
