Here’s a look at the 16 games for the NFL in Week Three (September 22-26) and a handful of stats you need to know about each contest. (Games are on Sunday unless otherwise noted)
Houston @ New England (Thursday): The Patriots have won five of the six games played in this series. Houston has never won a game on New England’s home field. The Pats have won the last four and have averaged 36 points in the last four contests.
Arizona @ Buffalo: Buffalo leads the series 6-4. They are 3-1 versus the Cardinals in Buffalo. The Bills have won five of the last six against the Cards. Six of the 10 games in the series have been decided by 10 points or more.
Oakland @ Tennessee: Oakland has won 24, Tennessee 20 in this matchup. The Titans are 5-2 against the Raiders in games played in Tennessee. The two teams have split the last eight games in the series. Three of the last four games played were decided by four points or less.
Cleveland @ Miami: The series is tied 8-8. The Dolphins are 5-2 versus Cleveland in games played in Miami. The Browns have won four of the last five games in the series. The last three games played in Miami in this series were each decided by three points.
Baltimore @ Jacksonville: The Jags lead the series 11-8. The Ravens and Jaguars have each won three games of the last six played in the series. Jacksonville won the last two games played at home against Baltimore. Jacksonville has scored 24 points or more in a game against the Ravens in only one of the last 10 contests.
Detroit @ Green Bay: Green Bay leads the series 96-68-7 in the regular season. Detroit has won three of the last five games played between the two division rivals. The Packers are 15-1 versus the Lions in Green Bay dating back to 2000. Seven of the last 12 games in the series were decided by a touchdown or less.
Denver @ Cincinnati: The Broncos have won 20 of the 29 games played against the Bengals. Denver is 14-3 against Cincinnati dating back to 1983. The two teams split the last six games played in Cincinnati. Each of the last six games played in the series was decided by 10 points or less.
Minnesota @ Carolina: Minnesota has a 7-5 advantage in this series. Carolina is 2-1 against the Vikings at home. Three of the last four games played between these two teams were decided by 18 points or more.
Washington @ New York Giants: The Giants hold a 97-65-4 lead in the series during the regular season. The Giants have won five of the last six in the series and have won four straight against the Redskins at home. The Giants are 12-4 against Washington since 2008.
Los Angeles Rams @ Tampa Bay: The Rams hold a 13-8 lead against the Bucs in this matchup. The Rams have won four straight against Tampa Bay. The Bucs are 5-2 versus the Rams at home.
San Francisco @ Seattle: Seattle leads the series 19-15. The Seahawks have won the last five against the 49ers and seven of the last eight. Seattle has held the 49ers under 20 points in 10 straight games. Seattle has won the last five games at home against San Francisco.
New York Jets @ Kansas City: This series is tied 17-17-1. The two teams have split the last six games in the series. Kansas City has won three of the last four versus the Jets at home. Seven of the last 12 games between the Jets and Chiefs were decided by a touchdown or less.
San Diego @ Indianapolis: The Chargers lead the Colts 16-9 in this matchup. San Diego has won six of the last seven and has won three straight on the Colts home-field. Nine of the last 10 games in the series were decided by 10 points or less.
Pittsburgh @ Philadelphia: In the regular season, the Eagles have a 46-28-3 advantage in games against the Steelers. Philly has won six of the last nine against Pittsburgh and have won the last eight games at home against the Steelers. Five of the last nine games between the two teams were decided by three points or less.
Chicago @ Dallas: Dallas has won 14 of the 25 games played against the Bears. The Cowboys and Bears have split the last six games and have split the last six games played in Dallas. In five of the last six games, the margin of victory was 13 or more points.
Atlanta @ New Orleans (Monday): The Saints lead the series 49-45 and have won eight of the last 11 against the Falcons. The Saints have won four of the last five played against the Falcons in New Orleans. Eight of the last 13 games in the series were decided by four points or less.
